GTH's 11-Year Streak as a System Integrator Giant, we are shaping the future of automation.

CFE Media and Technology proudly presented the 2024 System Integrator Giants list in this year’s Global System Integrator Report. The list of System Integrator Giants is a comprehensive ranking of the top systems integrators based on system integration revenue, as sourced from the Global System Integrator Database. Originally initiated by Control Engineering Magazine in 2013, the 2024 list showcases the leading 80 system integrators with George T. Hall Company (GTH) securing its position for an impressive 11th consecutive year!

One of the criteria to be eligible for the System Integrator Giants program is system integrators must maintain a complete and valid listing within the Global System Integrator Database. This user-friendly database serves as a valuable tool, granting end-users access to the capabilities of system integrators and facilitating connections with the most suitable service providers. GTH's corporate profile for both its Anaheim and Reno locations is available for viewing within this database. Furthermore, an accurate and truthful completion of the entry form is required and reviewed by CFE Media.

Highlighted in an article published by Control Engineering, titled, “The Time Is Now for System Integrators”, the publication of the 2024 System Integrator Giants list signifies a pivotal moment. As believers in the enormous potential for increased automation, GTH is steadfast in its commitment to delivering control and automation solutions that are Built Beyond Expectations.

With a rich history in control solutions spanning nearly a century, GTH has established a legacy in modernizing the key infrastructure industries that make up our nation’s industrial operations. Among these crucial sectors are water and wastewater systems, mining operations, pharmaceutical plants, and food & beverage facilities. GTH is committed to aiding these key infrastructure industries in the ongoing modernization and automation of their operations, aligning them with the evolving requirements and future demands of our nation. Our extensive experience in assisting these industries with modernization and regulatory compliance, particularly in areas such as CFR 21, AMS 2750G, and AQMD air quality regulations, underscores our commitment to excellence, innovation, and expertise. We are anticipating a highly successful year as we embark on numerous innovative projects in 2024.

As a full-service control solutions provider with design capabilities, programming expertise, instrumentation service, and control panel manufacturing we work within the framework of our customers' existing technology to modernize their operations or design new solutions. In the upcoming year we are excited to contribute to some of the following types of projects:

  • Upgrade various sludge dryers in several wastewater treatment plans which will lead to improvements in efficiency, energy consumption, product quality, and overall operational performance, contributing to a more sustainable and effective water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Combustion control system upgrades which include process heaters with regenerative thermal oxidizers and carbon regeneration kilns in our local mines will focus on efficiency and emission controls.
  • Refrigeration control system upgrades to walk-in cooler and freezer control systems, and monitoring which will ensure our pharmaceutical clients are maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies such as the FDA.
  • Upgrades to burner and control systems for paint bake ovens, ensuring AQMD compliance, for both our automotive and aerospace customers.
  • SCADA system upgrades across all key infrastructure industries which aims to enhance industrial processes by incorporating data acquisition systems into fully operational SCADA systems.

Leveraging our skilled engineering teams and our distribution expertise we stand as a unique partner for these key infrastructure industries. Offering comprehensive assistance in product selection, troubleshooting, and technical support, our integration services cover system design, project management, programming, and field startup.

At GTH, our strategic positioning enables us to assist manufacturers in these critical industries, striking a balance between meeting stringent quality and safety standards and addressing business needs. Through the development of control and automation solutions facilitating lean and rapid production, as well as the integration of facility-wide PLC and SCADA solutions for reliability, repeatability, and traceability, we are poised for success.

Our philosophy sees automation not merely as a substitution for manual processes but as a means to elevate productivity, efficiency, and overall operational excellence. By harnessing the power of automation to streamline processes and optimize information and operations, GTH aims to significantly enhance internal processes to enhance product quality and efficiencies for our customers, aligning with our continuous improvement initiatives through innovative automation solutions.

At GTH, we have strategically invested in our Engineering Teams and in our UL certified panel shops in preparation for future demands of automation solutions. In 2023 we acquired the Perforex system, an automated solution for machining, drilling, tapping, and milling holes in control panel enclosures and back panels. The system seamlessly integrates with EPLAN software, ensuring precise adherence to design specifications. The benefits range from enhanced data accuracy and time savings to improved consistency, design-production integration, and scalability. Additionally, GTH has allocated substantial resources to bolster our engineering and project management departments, encompassing new software investments, certifications, training programs, and mentoring initiatives.

In tandem with the World Economic Forum’s identification of the top skills for the future, System Integrators like GTH are at the forefront of nurturing talent equipped with a propensity to learn. In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, the ability to think strategically and solve complex challenges takes precedence over a static skill set.

System Integrators, like GTH, serve as the linchpin connecting industries to the future of automation in industrial operations.
