HOW IT ALL BEGAN

George Hall, Founder

George Thomas Hall founded the George T. Hall Company in 1932 after relocating to Southern California, initially building the business around trailer manufacturing and distribution. As customer demand shifted, he recognized the growing need for reliable controls and service, leading GTH to transition into controls and heater distribution and repair; fully exiting trailer distribution by 1955. George served as President for more than four decades, guiding the company’s evolution before passing the presidency to Chuck Niemann in 1975.

GUIDING GTH FORWARD

Chuck Niemann, Chairman of the Board

Chuck Niemann began his career at GTH in 1954 under George Hall’s mentorship and steadily advanced through operations and leadership roles, helping modernize the company through early adoption of technology and process innovation. As President, Chuck expanded GTH’s footprint, strengthened its position in industrial controls and automation, and upheld the values that defined the company’s culture. Today, Chuck continues his legacy as Chairman of the Board, providing strategic guidance while championing the people-first leadership philosophy for generations.
